Reimagining The Classics

Wie weit sind noch die drei großen Ami-Cons weg? Ich meine die Origins ist in 4 Wochen...

Damit hätte ich nicht gerechnet. Allerdings ist ja auch beim Shadow Hawk die Lieferzeit explodiert (und mittlerweile wieder geschrumpft ) und die Valkyrie lässt auch aus unbekannten Gründen auf sich warten. Grundsätzlich würde dir ja anbieten, eine von meinen zu "leihen", aber das wäre vermutlich wegen des Portos nicht wirklich lohnenswert. Außerdem wäre der Mech schon als WSP-1D montiert.

Sind die Figuren eigentlich mittlerweile angekommen? Auf der IWM-Seite wird die Wasp momentan nicht einmal angeboten.

Valkyrie verzögert sich und scheinbar werden momentan keine Wasp ausgeliefert. Ich zumindest warte noch immer - obwohl ich gleich an Tag1 bestellt hatte...

Rumor control first…

As many of you know, the new “Classic” Valkyrie re-sculpt was pushed off the list for release. Now, there is a LOT of speculation ranging from killing off the Classic designs, IP infringement, pending lawsuits, and all the way down to Catalyst & Iron Wind Metals not caring about the game. This just simply is not the case at this time. While I don’t have an “official” statement to give you from the heads of those companies, I have talked with both of them, and I can say that at this time the “Classic” Valkyrie sculpt is in limbo until further notice. There is NO actual statement provided by either the companies themselves at this time other than it was pushed back. So take it for what it’s worth.

Now…the bad news…

Whatever is going on, has affected the 20-5145 Wasp WSP-1A “Classic” sculpt. As of right now, the Wasp is NOT available at Iron Wind Metals, and it is also considered in limbo for now. I have no other information beyond that it too falls within the same status as the Valkyrie. So those of you that purchased any of these Wasp’s…congrats!

I will be removing the Wasp from the Aries Games & Miniatures website later today so as to avoid confusion. As soon as it becomes available again…I will relist it.

FYI...this does NOT affect the Shadow Hawk (-2H or -2K), or the Ostscout.

PLEASE…do not start more rumors, don’t ask me for specifics of what was said, this is ALLLLLLLL the information I have at this time. If I am privy to any more information that I can give you, I will…as we all love this game just as much as Iron Wind Metals and Catalyst do.

Also wieder einmal Abwarten und Tee drinken. Warten wir schon lange vergebens auf Warhammer, Marauder, Griffin etc. nach deren Promo-Vorstellungen, warten wir nun eben auch noch auf Wasp und Valkyrie.
Ich hoffe nur, wir warten, weil CGL ein ganz großes Ding mit all den schönen Designs vor hat ...

Irgendwie bin ich ganz glücklich, dass ich meine beiden Wasps gleich per Preorder gekauft habe

Allerdings hoffe ich schon, dass sich das nicht auf die anderen Classics auswirkt...

Naja bei der Ankündigung der Classics hieß es, dass dieser Punkt geklärt sei. Von daher würde es mich dann jetzt doch ziemlich wundern, wenn es doch wieder offene Punkte gäbe. Zumal es die Bücher mit dem Artwort ja ganz offensichtlich weiterhin gibt. Die wären ja sonst auch schon längst aus dem Verkehr gezogen.
Von daher sag ich ja, sollten wir einfach mal warten, was hier von offizieller Seite irgendwann mal kommt.

Ich war ja nun ne ganze Weile weg vom Hobby, aber diese neuen Sculpts dewr Klassiker lassen sich durchaus sehen.

Aber Warhammer oder Maro sind derzeit nur aus Australien zu beziehen, seh ich das richtig? (und das auch nur wenn es auf E-bay angeboten wird?)

Hmm. Mal die grossen Ami cons abwarten was danach ist.

Ich persönlich bin gerade auch wieder am bemalen einer grösseren Aufstellung.

Wenn es fertig ist, soll es ein Battalion sein.

Und so ne Klassik Lanze Marke Rifleman, Warhammer, Marauder und Archer würde sich darin sehr gut machen

Die Sachen aus Australien fallen in den illegalen Bereich. Das sind keine offiziellen Produkte von einem der Lizenzhalter.

Ja, das sollten soweit alles MWO Designs sein. Macht es aber nicht besser.
Ist auch alles das was gemeinhin Produktpiraterie genannt wird. Daher habe ich auch keine von diesen Modellen. Der Stress sind die mir nicht wert.
War ja nicht von ungefähr warum der Aussie nicht mehr bei Camosprecs ist.

Fantasywelt hat diese Woche noch mal neue Wasp´s ausgeliefert! (Ich hab meine 2 diese Woche bekommen) Ist nur zu hoffen das es das nicht endgültig war!

Nein der Aussie hat nicht nur MWO Modelle im Angebot von Zeit zu Zeit kommen auch seinen "Ideen" von den Reimagine in seinen Laden.

ein MWO Warhammer sieht anders aus als das was er manchmal anbietet.

Damit betreibt er zwar keine DIREKTE Raubkopiererei, aber es dürfte dennoch fraglich sein, ob er die nötigen Lizenzrechte hat, um auch seine Interpretation zu legitimieren. Ich könnte mir denken, dass Lizenzanwälte der Ansicht sind, dass damit sehr wohl das Urheberrecht verletzt wird.

Das wäre was wirklich Neues, wenn ihn Lizenzrechte neuerdings interessieren würden.

Alles in allem heisst es dann also warten bis da was offizielles kommt.

Schade. Ne Mini des MWO Rifleman würde mir gefallen. Steinigt mich, aber ich finde ihn ästhetisch weit besser als das alte original.
