  Mechgenerator

Hallo, hab gerade ein Problem mit dem MEchgenerator.
Ich hab mir den hier runtergezogen, entziped und wollte den starten....
dann öffnet sich zwar das Programm ( jedenfalls ist es laut Taskmanager offen und läuft und es ist auch in der Taskleiste angezeigt) aber es öffnet sich nciht auf dem Bildschirm!
Hatte das auch schonmal jemand? was muss ich machen um den zu starten?

Ein Programm dieses Namens kenne ich nicht... wird daher auch mit Hilfe bei dem Problem schwierig

Sorry...ich meinte diesen "Drawing Board"
ich kann den installieren...das geht auch und wenn ich ihn starte dann wird das Programm als gestartet angezeigt, aber das Fenster öffnet sich nicht...das dumme ist dass der schonmal lief und jetzt halt nciht mehr!

Ich habe xp und es läuft, wobei ich sagen muss ich habe es mir von Jesse schicken lassen, vielelicht ist das der Unterschied, keine Ahnung sonst.

That is a common problem with TDB. The window is somewhere off-screen, and you need to move it back.

Right-click on the TDB button in the task bar, and choose Move. Use the up/down/left/right cursor keys to move the window back to the visible screen. It takes some trial and error.

Okay, then we can use the hard way (as long as you're comfortable with it).

1) Start the Registry Editor (Start > Run > Regedit)

2) Search for "The Drawing Board". Although it will appear in several places, you want the one that is under:

...\VB and VBA Program Settings\Blackstone Interactive\

Usually it is under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software

3) Under The Drawing Board, expand to Boot, then Main.

4) On the right window see the Names "Left" and "Top". These record the position that TDB starts up in when first started (and are the values that get corrupted, for some reason).

5) Right-click on Left, and choose Modify.

6) Type in "0" for the Value data.

7) Repeat 5 and 6 for Top.

Exit Registry Editor.

Please note that changes made in the Registry Editor are done real time, so only change the above and stay away from deleting stuff, if you don't know what you're doing.

The next time TDB starts it should be in the screen's upper left corner. Each time you exit the program, it will save the current position as your preference. If it happens again, you'll know what to do.
